Love in the Air
It’s been a rough couple of years. With the square between Chiron and Mars producing painful exchanges, it may have been a rough couple of weeks too. But I have good news! It’s all about to change for the better just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Truly, this is something to celebrate as we are being ushered into a serene Spring and Summer. When compared to the Astrology of the last two years, this is likely going to feel like a vacation. However, this is also a time of consciousness building, as several planets and asteroids will be squaring the Lunar Nodes in March and April. I’ll write more about that later. Now on to my ushy-gushy Valentine’s Day report.
Venus and Mars are getting back together baby! These two lovers are going to spend an abnormally long time snuggling up too. Venus and Mars began their conjunction on February 2nd and will part again on March 29th. These love birds will spend a full 56 days together this spring - 38 days more than their last meeting summer of 2021. This aspect will be in full force for V-Day in the dutiful 15th degree of hard-working and commitment-savvy Capricorn.
If you are wanting to make a challenging relationship work at this time, the stars are with you! However, any kind of committed romantic relationship will benefit greatly from this aspect no matter the circumstance.
The book Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus forever imprinted on us the astrological significance of Venus and Mars getting together. I fully expect the masculine and feminine dualities to swirl around and put the forces of attraction to work.
There is a twist here as lightning bolt planet Uranus is trine the astral couple and Jupiter is sending a harmonic uplift to all three planets at the same time. I see this as a an opportunity for a wonderful surprise. If single, this surprise could mean the opportunity to meet someone new. If coupled up, dare I say, it could indicate a surprise engagement or moving in together unexpectedly.
In matters of the heart, it’s important to look at what the astroids are up to. The asteroid Cupido has his arrow drawn directly opposite Saturn - another indication that commitments are highly supported at this time. Vesta is nestled tightly next to Mars and Venus for their entire conjunction -mandating that we consider home and hearth as it relates to our love situations. In addition, Uranus will square Juno, cultivating new thoughts about marriage and commitment.
The spring and summer of 2022 has some of the best astrology that we’ve seen in years. While this has more to do with the lack of conflicting aspects more than anything, I am still happy to finally be able to write a light-hearted report. If you are experiencing a difficult transit in your personal natal chart, you will be able to hear that message much more clearly without the hum of chaos that has been around us the past two years.
Whatever Valentines Day and this beautiful Spring has to offer you, I hope you enjoy to the maximum!
